More so of the left side of the box which is torn. The stickers are briefly repaired just for the filming.

The mold is similar in terms of the curving on the middle part of the body. There is a boy and girl mark on the previous stop and go rails single item from the last video I published. The station also has the boy and girl mark below. This Benkei is using the old type of thin black rubber, so it grips fairly well compared to the beige rubber that hardens over time. That station's colour is only found in this set, unfortunately.

It might have been an free add on or the seller misplaced them both in the set, that one is awkward. The clacking is a specification, just like how D51 works.

Very neat video's Vio. I really like how your 'My City' Layout is all vintage.

I know that I have seen the light blue Road track many times and may have even had a piece or two but it never dawned on me what those holes were for on the sides. Now I see they are for signs, street lamps and something I had not noticed before...guard rails. Those are pretty neat, reminds me of the guard rails on my old HO Aurora Race Car sets. I am curious if those original (I call them square sided) yellow block piers under the road track are the original height like those orange piers or the normal height of the modern yellow block piers? I see you used those yellow wedge pieces that came in the Benkei Set to raise those orange piers to modern height.

I see that the D-51's cab 'shudders' when running the rails...is this normal or could it be due to the 'clacker' or something that comes with age?

RE: Vio's YouTube Videos - violater - 08-30-2020

Yellow block piers are the same height as the modern piers seen today, but are slightly shorter than the orange piers. Those wedges are called auxiliary blocks.

The D51 is supposed to be smooth but I think there is an irregularity in the friction wheel (not perfectly circle). The clacker is normal, its intended to make a sound when the motor moves.

Those yellow block piers are 'Shorter' than the orange ones???

I'm sorry, I mean taller (sleepy). These yellow block piers are the same height as the modern block piers today.

LOL...I get that too. Blush

That is a fantastic all Vintage Layout and Trains Vio...nice work.

Did the D-51 Steamer have some repairs done to it as it sure looks strong and fast?

RE: Vio's YouTube Videos - violater - 10-03-2020

D-51 never ran in the video, will put that in next time if you wish. In terms of repairs, yes it was repaired.
