If you buy it at the 'Pre-Sale' event space at Tokorozawa Station on December 11th, there's a valuable bonus incentive...

Pre-sale privilege per purchase: "Seibu Railway original paper bag" is included.

BUT you have to download the Seibu App and get an electronic ticket to be sure of getting into the venue and buying one of the pre-sale 1000 boxes before 13:00.

If you wait until December 12th (when the 1000 box limit no longer applies), you'll be deeply disappointed to find that:

"The Seibu Railway original paper bag" is not included with Tomony store and Seibu Railway Online Shop purchases

So there is a difference with this new release and the original a few years ago? Four different destination stickers to choose from? Wouldn't they be a one time use...meaning once you choose the destination and apply the sticker...you are done?

But (rather carelessly) I haven't checked to see if you also got an original paper bag in 2017, and if so whether it was the same original paper bag or a different one.

It would appear that TAKARA TOMY has designed a North American Freight Diesel and might be pushing back out into the International Market again.

Great find, FD. Does anyone recognise what train that might be? The freight cars have transparent roof/side pieces which open up.

If we follow the trail we end up at a website showing the patents, designs, and trademarks published weekly by the Japan Patent Office, for example this one from June 2021 (with the result released in November 2021):

Exciting...something new and different to look into Smile

I don't recognize the supposed North American Diesel but I am intrigued to find out any more info. It's door to the Cab is on the front and off centered. The accompanying cars look unfamiliar to me as they must be to carry something specific. Refrigeration cars maybe as the front and back areas have louvered venting for some kind of cooling or exhaust. I do like it and with the lowered side door entry make it unique. Wonder if the train will actually come with some type of cargo for the inside?

I am curious as to how the fictitious look of the second 'Plarail Railway' series train will have, especially that coach. Could it have some action details like opening doors. What could that nub be on the far side of the roof?
