I was planning to ask Nigel about printing a couple of these for me, but I was feeling guilty about not yet having bought the Daisy he made for me to completion. They are the same length as a standard double-length ramp.

So Drew, are you moving from Mini's to motorized Plarail?

Was never into mini. You must be thinking another Drew.

Thanks Nigels for pictures. I asked as track is rare. Might see if i find some local to print it for me.

No worries, if you come up short let me know and I'll figure out how much it would cost for me to do it...

Chris,

No need to feel guilty about anything mate, it was a model I was making anyway you in fact helped me get it to completion by loaning me some chassis' as recall Smile

If you need those tracks let me know and I'll try printing one first to see if it comes out ok and also to price them...

Cheers, Nigel

With a lit crystal;

RE: The New 3D Printing Thread - Super - 10-23-2019

That is awesome Nigels. It looks perfect as its the crystal ball that lights up and not the body. Is the light voice activated? That is just fabulous. I can just picture all the lighted, table top Halloween decorations that could be made. Great job and great idea.

RE: The New 3D Printing Thread - Nigels - 10-23-2019

Yes, very pleased, I simply made  hole in the base of the crystal and inserted one of the miniature ball lights in there.  I know from past experiences that it will run for probably a fortnight without replacing the batteries Smile
