Trackmaster Kevin - Argozyy - 02-23-2021

This may be a silly question but I have wondered since I know very little about trackmaster 2 compared to the original trackmaster and tomy eras if the trackmaster 2 motorized Kevin only worked on road or rail or both Huh

RE: Trackmaster Kevin - Super - 02-23-2021

I don't know myself but good question Argo.

RE: Trackmaster Kevin - leylandvictory2 - 02-23-2021

Trackmaster 2 Kevin is essentially like a trackmaster engine.  So it will run fine on tracks.  As for the road, you can try running a trackmaster 2 engine with the spikey wheels and see if it works.

RE: Trackmaster Kevin - Tons of Trackmasters - 02-23-2021

Alright!
The original helping hook Kevin released for Hiro of the rails works on both TOMY and HiT road with his 2 flatbeds rather well but does NOT work on any railway track (new or not)
I'm afraid i don't own a TM2 Kevin but i know he works on TM2 track and slightly on the original like all other TM2 engines Confused.

RE: Trackmaster Kevin - GreatGordonFan - 02-23-2021

Honestly why did they have to turn kevin into, basically an engine. He now looks extremely chunky and nothing like what he looks like in the tv series. It's a bit like how they butchered Carly in Series 25.

It reminds me of the newest plarail bertie in a way

RE: Trackmaster Kevin - leylandvictory2 - 02-23-2021

there is no way to house the battery if kevin doesn't look "chunky"  Same goes with Harvey.

RE: Trackmaster Kevin - Super - 02-23-2021

If Argo is thinking about the motorized Road Vehicles...maybe they could have made a Kevin like Terrence, Ned or Jack (wasn't he motorized too?) which would be much smaller and run on a AAA or 'N' size battery.

RE: Trackmaster Kevin - Tons of Trackmasters - 02-23-2021

You have a very good point super.  Smile The Plarail and TM push along Non motorized Kevin's are defiantly the best in terms of proportions

RE: Trackmaster Kevin - Mister No - 02-24-2021

I don't know what were they thinking... This motorized Kevin is now - a train? Or what?

[Image: motorizedkevin.jpg]He looks weird. They turned him into a locomotive so he looks like some track-laying train loco or something like that... In any case, it's not Kevin anymore. Kevin is a clumsy little four-wheeled crane, not a locomotive. This is Kevin:

That's much better. And he can be pulled by an engine, if necessary. Smile
