My son and I absolutely love the thomas minis collection. He loves thomas and it's making me roll back all those years to when I was thomas daft! We have a good collection but can't seem to find a spooky salty anywhere and it's one of the only ones he needs which I cannot source. Anyone happen to have a spare?

Any info would be great!

Thanks

I just happened to buy two yesterday. Are you in US?

Found the Spooktacular Pop-up Playset at Toys r Us. It folds up waaaay smaller than I thought. Spencer is very cool. I love they take the time to make the sides of the train different. A very nice addition to the collection!

that would be amazing. that would complete the whole blind bag set up to now. let me know what i owe ya and such

Fellow Canadians, I just discovered today that Mastermind Toys is carrying the Thomas Minis. I am not sure what series they're carrying, and they're more expensive than other stores, but it's at least another source:

FYI all,
Walmart has the dc collectors playwheel for about $13. It has gator green lantern and Stephen sinestro. I think this is the only way to get the gator one. Went to the local store, they had 3 in stock at $12.98. Here's a link. Good hunting ya'll!!

Oh...and my motorized track comes today!!! My boy will be so excited!!
The only problem with these minis is convincing my wife that all the duplicates I get are for my son. She says that all that money should go to his college fund. I told her that it is. Gosh I hope these things are worth something someday. She keeps reminding me about my worthless early 90's baseball cards. But the fun we have hitting 5 stores once a week is priceless...and the boy loves it!

Haha my wife is the same! You don't think much of it though when its only £/$2 a train but when we have them all lined up and you realize you have over 100 minis, both carry cases, the track, the advent calendar etc you can understand where the wife is coming from.

Worth something in future or not I am sure we can all agree that the fun we all have with our kids due to this incredible collection makes every penny worthwhile!

The price of the Minis or Shopkins or My Little Ponies, or whatever does add up over time. It's easy to step back and go, "wow, what could I have purchased with all that money". It's very easy to do. These may or may not have any value 10 or 20 years from now.

But, what you can not put a price on, is the time you are spending with your little guy or girl going from store to store to find that last one to complete the wave, collection, etc. Nor can you put a price on the time playing with the child and the toy.

Remind them that the value is in the memories, not in the toy itself.
