RE: thomas and friends mini series - Diesel10 - 11-09-2017

I found 2018/1 at the Target in Bloomington, IN. I searched the whole box, but did not see Camo Belle & Neon Splatter Stanley.

Thanks for posting the codes. The site I normally use did not have them listed yet.

Thanks for the reply. Are the Minis weighted?!

Weighted?

Do the MINIS feel like they have a bit of weight to them, or do they feel super light in weight?

As much as I'd like to see them return, I'll be shocked if the weights ever come back. Unless it immediately and directly impacts sales, a cost-saving measure like taking the weights out isn't going to be undone. I assume it would require a change (i.e. upfront $$ that doesn't get recouped in sales) to the assembly line and moldings: that's something you only do once, to *remove* something expensive that will pay for the change after you sell enough.

The first couple years, minis had little weights in them. See this older post from Reivax to see the difference.

Totally agree with you. Think it's more wishful thinking on my part and many others. And yes there's pretty much no way the weights will be returning. If they can make more money off less cost....why would they go back. I've also heard that the MINIS are one of the most profitable lines for Fisher-Price/Mattel.

They’re definitely not weighted.

I wonder if the Dots Thomas will be weighted? Maybe old inventory? Also hoping they will re-release Sugar Daddy?

Will be interesting to see for sure! Also wondering if the Tootsies are no longer a North American exclusive. Will they now being showing up in blind bags everywhere?

Hmmmm? What about a Tootsie 4 or 9 pack? No sign of 2018 here in California. No Ninja Turtle 4 packs either....
