Plarail: As soon as Mattel discontinues their Trackmaster line all together, well take over some day.

i would agree with you whole hardly.

and believe me! i wish this to be true!

but big business doesn't work like that.

sure, plarail WILL < i hope anyways> always continue.

but plarail is based in japan. which is fine.

but! here in the states.. fisher price owns the rights.
more than likely, fisher price will diminish the line.
as it has done this particular year.

then the doldrums begin.
of course, i hope to be wrong. maybe fisher price and their respective "creativity team(s)"...
are planning a resurgence.
time will tell.
