Reducing visibility for air attacks is interesting but using it to remove soot in tunnels doesn't sound too safe. Thanks for the info WW. I wonder if in the Thomas Movie they address why he has three funnels and what their reason will be.

Apparently, he's under the impression that he can disappear, but he can't. Theo (the traction engine) is the only new engine to not have a real basis AFAIK.

As far as the toys themselves, these releases look cool, especially the rolling stock. Love what they did with Thomas too--molding him in black, then painting him blue in spots

I only wish I would have not missed out on the new TMR Merlin, Hurricane, and Thomas @ $10.99 each with free shipping on $29 or more and then they have 40% off when buying two or more Thomas items. I could have gotten the Thomas but was hoping all 3 would be available. They are all out of stock. Some of the eBay and Amazon prices are crazy.

Yep. The Plarail Steam Thomas set that recently came out is much nicer.

On a good note, it seems like FisherPrice has finally realized that the Revolution line is overpriced, at least for the Little Friends and Greatest Moments packs. I still think most of their set are still priced to high, but the Greatest Moments packs, (1 engine, 2 cars),(including Merlin, & both steelworks issues) have now officially been lowered to an "everyday low price" of only $10.19 at Target!! Smile
Play nice & have fun!!Smile

The distributor can give them suggested retail price. The price is dictated by the retailer. Either taraget wants to dump its inventory or try to stir up interests. The Hugo and and whiff is very popular in Wal mart (Canada). When I went back after 3 days, its entire inventory of Hugo and whiff is gone.
