Thats perfect, thank you Sunhuntin. Little bit smaller than I was hoping for.

no worries, super. you could secure him face forward in the truck with a bit of poster tack or similar, and then surround with cotton wool etc. would look quite nice.

just secretly, im getting a tad obsessed with the capsule stuff. keep seeing more i would like. lol. putting a file together of stuff i want to try and buy eventually, but wont get more until the layout is done so i can see how crowded its going to be.
ordered 20 assorted n scale figures from the uk. they specifically listed figures with children, so request 2 or 3 of each, with the rest to be done how they like, as it was a lucky dip type listing. ive found n scale children figures near impossible to find. i almost wish ho figures would do, as the range is much better.

"N" scale children must be very small. There looks to be a very wide variety of the Capsule and must be pretty popular as there are just as many Capsule listings as regular Plarail listings on the Auctions of Japan.

finally went back to the club tonight, havent been since before christmas, and mocked up the tracks.

im going to buy some half straights [14cm] for the sidings and might get some buffers as well to finish the look.

ive also located the watermill nearer to the siding on that side and painted a pond around it. next time i go out there will be another couple coats of paint and sketching out the pathways i want.

Wonder if there's anything similar to AnyRail for Plarail track out there.
updated photos.

the layout so far. i need to repaint the water at the back to lighten it up and also fill the gap between it and the track bed. the track has not been fixed down yet, except for the points.

i went out today to run percy on the big layout, set my layout up for the photo and decided to drill the holes to thread the wiring for the points down out of the way. then i wrapped the wires up with a cable tie and finally stapled everything to the underside.

Good planning equals good wiring, looking good Sun. Is the water feature the lifelike water material?

thanks, super. the points are meant to powered, but they arent going to be, but i didnt want to cut the wiring off just in case.

the water is just plain old paint. Smile the bit i will repaint is the back two corners. i want it look like an ocean of sorts, as thats got the dock with cranky, bulstrode and captain. looks ok, just a bit too dark.
