This is what Sunhuntin posted in the other thread about her...

Quote:they came in a tomy set called thomas adventure set, that also included "mini dolls" of the fat controller, driver and fireman [i think those are the right names?]
the annie uses the same mechanism as the vintage tomy magnetic coupler set called chug along express. the sound is created as muddy said, which is "powered" by having tyres on one set of wheels.

looking on google tells me there have been several versions, including one that came with talking thomas. assumption there that the annie would not be a chug along due to her being the battery compartment.

The Vicarage Orchard ~ Talk 'n Action Diesel 10 demo

I guess Pinchy regularly scrapes at everything? The 2001 version-nothing like this- has a small hinged top. It's very boring.

Yes. I managed to get the TnA Diesel 10 and TnA Toby for around $30 though. So you can find deals on them. Good luck. I have seen one on Jauce New in the box for like ¥35,000 and then one used for ¥18,000. The only thing I am missing is the dodge "dummy" engine.

The Vicarage Orchard ~ Red Hakone Tozan unboxing and first

I am surprised at how fast this tram is. Where did you get that type of C to AA battery adapter? I have not seen that style before.
Super I wish I new where the adapter was purchased too...
I've found 3 of those adapters from inside of an old hunting flashlight that was in a "free" box off the side of the road!!!Smile
Yes these trams are very fast AND powerful too...Geris said they geared to climb without reduction of speed, and to feel the force underneath the rear wheels is really awesome...I just can't compare to to anyother engine.
The baby blue version is crazy fast too..
Excited to see who will see who wins tomorrow's race!!
Play nice & have fun!!Smile
