How to build a 4.5v Gordon

I'm going to order several replacement "permanent" connectors as many of mine are brittle or broken

I'd be very interested to hear if you find any. I have made my own by cutting them out of a polythene food container lid (no names, no parties), then punching the holes with a leather punch.
