Back in 2012 when FP had finally redesigned James, Henry, and Edward, I waited nearly a year for them to stock the shelves with a Gordon, but he never came.
Then they were gone forever.
Could this be him?
If we could get Jdogman to read the SKU on the bottom of the packaging we could get a good clue!!

It almost flew under my radar, but after realizing what it was, I was just lucky enough to have just nabbed one for our collection too!

Yes, it is. The legit boxes, pamphlets and instruction manuals from that time still only showed the C Gordon since there wasn't even a mock up of a AA version. I've only just noticed the tender sticker is crooked. A real Gordon from said batch would've had the right buffers for the tender, open cylinders with the extended coupling rods and (possibly) a more updated face. Not to mention how this one postdates the complete redesign from 2014.

Also, @trainboy90_productions is a private profile, so I'd assume only select followers would have access to it. If not the Polar Express, I predict Hank will be turned into some real American/Canadian engine. The Gordon might be Green Arrow, Flying Thistle, Pretty Polly or just Gordon in his previous livery ("when he was young and green").

I just made my first purchase off of Amazon Japan which is exciting because the prices on Plarail items on ebay recently went up to the $25-35 range for a normal engine with 1 or 2 rolling stock.
