Axles on Trackmater 1/Plarail Engines

Sorry for Spam. I think they're called rods. I wonder where they can be bought?
Making Customs, Filming Videos and looking for the purest engines. That's how I roll here on Blue Plastic Tracks.

Beyond cannibalizing another engine I'm not sure you are going to find a source of them. Replacement parts wise TakaraTomy only sells couplers and rubbers as far as I know, the rods themselves are not made in a user serviceable way as ucwepn's own videos show.

If you're not willing to take apart any of your engines, eBay is guaranteed to have listings for broken engines with these rods in them still. Most sellers take down their prices considerably when the motor isn't running or is broken, but I suppose one man's trash is another man's souce for a rod in this case... Big Grin

I think it's a nail trimmed down with a small ring slid into it

They are a simple steel pin and ring arrangement I do not know the exact measurements and the materials and coatings seem to vary from early to late and from chrome plated to dull. the smaller twin pins can be removed with the right tools and some effort.
