Plarail Chuggington puffer pete

It still could be as I am only assuming, I hope someone who has one can give us an inside picture of the workings. If I ever get my hands on another one I certainly will if not to answer my own curiosity. Have you seen this video from BPT Member Powerful Gordon Mike about his making of an axle gear with molds? The first thing I thought of when viewing this was you and all the problems that Plarails Western Steamers have with cracking gears. His gear came out perfectly and I wondered if this method could reproduce the different gears that replacements can't be found for in the steamers. If you haven't seen it check it out here and let me know what you think?
