mum and i went to melbourne last week to see mumford and sons in concert. the show was amazing, well worth the trip. we were there for a week, and did a fair bit of shopping while there.

general photos of the trip are here https://sunstomyandfriends.weebly.com/suns-blog

the only new minis i could find. i also got another 5 storage cases and the boost n blast stunt set

i couldnt resist this tomy toomies bath toy train to go in my collection of tomy toddler toys.

we also went to build a bear, and i got the thomas bear and finally a toothless. i got another of thomas and a puppy that will gifts for friends daughters.

and one amazing score... 3 thomas shirts in adult sizing! never thought i would find anything like it.

yes, the stores were pretty well cleaned out still from xmas. even myer, which has display shelf thomas, percy and sheds was pretty bare. very disappointing.

these pics from 2015, just to show the shelving i mean.

Missed sale opportunities for the stores with empty shelves.
Fantastic trip Sun. Lots of neat stuff to bring back. Do you ship all your goodies back home, carry them on the plane or check them in with your luggage. Love all the pictures of your trip on your web site. I love that Disney area and that Lego Stadium is phenomenal. Thanks for sharing.

most of it went in my suitcase. the minis playcases were split between mums and my carry on bags to make room in the suitcases for bulkier and heavier items, like the build a bears and books. a few other delicate items went in carry on as well... pop vinyls and a tin i didnt want dented.

the lego builds were done by ryan mcnaught, hes a certified lego builder, one of only a few worldwide. the stadium was there last time, as was the luna park [big face] display, but both have suffered some damage over the years, with figures being knocked over and not fixed up. the flinders station with the tram was new.

LOL...What is that?

Some say I should be Certified...
     Definition of Certified
        1: legally declared insane.
        2:committed to a mental institution.

So this fellow is an employee of Lego?

not as such, but someone they trust enough to be a business partner of sorts. he is allowed to directly profit off their product by building displays for shops and also for travelling exhibits.
