I think another idea is that you should do is to remold the wheels and axles of the engines so we can have spares and make them any color we want them to be in?

I see a couple of problems with creating wheels from mold.
1) Not sturdy enough or too heavy (clay is very heavy material).
2) Clay are smooth hence no tracions

If one really wants a different colour wheels, why not harvested them from dead engines and spray paint them?

Probably have the wheels remolded into high durable plastic. I think it's a grest idea so we can have extra on hand
