Vintage Marx Royal Canadian Mounties

I had several Huge Marx playsets when I was young but htey seemed to be only US. Sets like the Battle of the Blue and Grey, The Alamo, Fort Apachie, WWII. I never knew or seen a Canadian Mountie set...very cool and looking at the bids must be rare to have a complete set like this. I know I combined all my sets  and threw out the boxes. I would imagine all the parts eventually being thrown away too so it has to be so unusual to find these sets complete like this. Look at those cool dog sleds, kayakers and igloos...

I wanna say that Marx was the biggest toy manufacturer in the world at the time but that just might have been what a small boy like myself thought when seeing and wanting the huge playsets they made back then. Those were the days when children used their imaginations to occupy their time.

its likely they were a large company, but its before my time by several years, and something i have never knowingly found at our thrift shops. its also possible not many sets made their way down under.
