PlaRail MagLev With Speed Change Tracks

Guys,

Maybe I missed someone posting about this, but if not have you seen this?  It is a PlaRail model of the real world new Maglev the Japanese are working on, nothing new as I've seen models of that before, but with this one it comes with two pieces of track which when it runs over them it causes it to change speed.  I know there are the activator tracks for the T&A trains, but this is the first time I've seen it on a real world PlaRail model, looks pretty cool Smile

This was released a short while ago in March and looks to use the slow and fast activation tracks that the E5 Shinkansen Speed Change set and similar in activation tracks that the C62 sight and sound set uses.

Yep, I was just about to get that one too with my C62 and E235 purchase a few months back. Sort of glad I did not due to downsizing but it is very cool. The “talking and action” style trains now are made so much more durable and less finicky, this one I am sure would be similar.

I am not so sure we have really discussed this version of the Plarail Maglev of which there are a few.
