Cool, Build a Motorized Lego Stop & Go Tomy Track

This cool little Lego build with parts list for a motorized addition to a Tomy Stop & Go Track. Looks pretty easy for one that has Lego pieces.

Pretty neat, basically remote controlled stop points, great if you got a large layout with some difficult to get to stop points. Fairly basic set of technic bricks as well, just the motors etc... might be something you'd need to obtain seperately as most people may not have multiples of them...
Happily collecting things all my life... Big Grin

I remember seeing a youtube video showing how a person used technic bricks to control the stop tracks (sort of like the real train signal system where no 2 trains can share 2 consecutive blocks at any given time).

Very cool! That would be especially useful if you use LEGO bricks for buildings and other scenery elements. Honestly though, it’s useful even if you DON’T use Legos for other elements and it looks better than some other DIY switching and traffic control setups I’ve seen in the past.
