Craigslist Jackpot (US TNA James!!)
#1
Hello all for my first post I figured i’d show this amazing lot i got off of craigslist for $70, all of the trains work except Henry unfortunately. the real jewel in the crown was the ultra rare American Talk-N-Action James in mint condition. as far as I know this is possibly the rarest North american Tomy Thomas release, so you can imagine my shock to find it. There was also a tub of Tomy accessories and the complete Hyperglow Tidmouth sheds set as well. Enjoy!

Looks like they're are 4 known US TnA James' in the world. There might be more to be found. I would love to have one.

Great Job on finding the American accent James. I think a lot of these probably made there way to the garbage after kids were too rough with them unfortunately.

I do just that, most of the trains in the lot needed that infamous love-tap but once they got going most of them ran fine. I have a video of it running with all 6 phrases here if anyone’s interested: https://youtu.be/qKCE2F-_Dkk

Yeah, it’s really no wonder these weren’t for sale in the US long, I think kids here definitely tend to be a bit rough on their toys and that delicate connection between the loco and tender is no joke. can’t imagine how many must be sitting in a landfill with a speaker that sounds like a dalek from Dr who.
