Remake: Seibu Railway New Red Arrow 10000 series

Looks like Plarail has re-released the Seibu Railway New Red Arrow 10000 series this month as a site specific purchase. Looks like its only available at the Seibu Railway Station Naka Convenience Store. Looks to have the new type motor chassis by the looks of the on/off switch placement.

Wonder what all the Collectors think about this re-release as the original Plarail Red Arrow was a prized possession including mine with an extra middle car. This certainly drops the value of the original. I might be interested in obtaining one if not just to compare the two. Unless a YouTuber is kind enough to make a comparison video.

EDIT:
Ask and you shall receive. Here a YouTuber does a side by side comparison with the old version at the 7:17 minute mark. Except for the big body side clips on the engine I think I am prefering the original to the new release. Wish I knew what this fellow was saying to see if he has a preference.
