Harold at the Heliport Set Box
Does anyone have a photo of this set's original box? As far as I know, It is a Motor Road and Rail set, that was sold as an equivalent to the plarail version of the set, that included Thomas and a Troublesome Van, instead of Percy and a mail coach.

Here is one. This is the UK release and its name is "Harold's Cargo Delivery Set"

And here is the US version NIB for sale
Hope this helps.

Maybe its just me but I don't see the photo of the UK release Thara

I added a picture from your Link of the US release for future Forum Searches.

huh weird, I see it perfectly.
Hmmm, that is weird. Is it from Post Image? I also don't see a photo in your Signature but I do see a link that shows nothing when I click on it.

No it isn't, I just copy the link image and put it in the image function in the post box, not the post image option. And yeah I need to change that it isn't working.

Your image is from an expired eBay Ireland lot. The main image has gone but the thumbnails are still there. You must have it in your cache, you could add it here using the PostImage option.

Edit: That's weird, when I click on the link I just posted, the image has appeared...

We discussed Carousell before, on the Plarail KTX thread.

The Link that Thara used above is for the US Box that I added. Thank you for the picture of UK version Dr Chris.

That’s not the full set, but a separate release of the destination without anything else. I know this because I had the same box and it only came with two trucks for the crates. If the actual set really was a US release, then maybe it was only sold by itself in the UK.

Well that seems have a set whos gimmick is driven by a motorized engine not have a motorized engine included in the set. Or is Harold and the Quonset Hut battery operated by itself?
Yes (2x AA under the hangar [I never heard the term "quonset hut" until you called it such in my thread]). You posted a video of it in action after I said it made a terrible racket to sound like Harold flying (and linked to the HobbySearch listing for the Japanese set).

Ah...thanks Da-lag. I still find it strange that an engine is not included
[Image: super-smiley-emoticon.gif]
In keeping with just about any other range, most individual releases of destinations do not include engines (one exception being the Action Destinations from 2011-12). The ones on the boxes are normally there for usage examples, which can be confusing to both children and parents.

For instance, the Engine Sheds and Turntable pack clearly showed Gordon, James 'and' Henry despite none of them being in it (neither was Thomas). This particular case irritated me back then since I never saw any of them among the engines that were chosen to be imported. I was seriously delusional enough to believe TOMY would simply provide them with the sheds (exactly what happened to me with Percy). I just happened to get the Flip Face James shortly after it, but this is no thread about marketing decisions.

Sure thats true but the Harold set has 2 train wagons included with no engine right?

Yes I believe that is the case, Circled the part on the box that tells you what is in it.
There are other cases like the one above,
Sodor Rail Yards shows 4 trains, but comes with none.

[Image: tomy-tomica-world-thomas-sodor-rail-1-2e...335b03.jpg]
Knapford station also shows 4 trains, but came with none.
[Image: tomy-tomica-world-thomas-knapford-1-5822...0a15b2.jpg]
But the one thing they do all show is a picture in the corner of what is in the box. Except the one DalaGStanator uses above of Tidmouth Sheds.
