Where to buy new trackmaster series trains

Hey All, Since I am new I was wondering where you all buy your new era Trackmaster stuff? Obviously Walmart, Target and Kroger but they have horrible selections. I know ebay, facebook marketplace and craigslist for used but where do you buy new ones? They all have the same stuff never anything new....
I went to 5 to 6 Wal mart before I found Kenji. 75th anniversary from Toy R US.   I would say try to buy in person to save shipping costs.

Yeah, I hate to say it but Walmart and Target are the primary options in the US and the selection is pretty lame. I read an article not long ago that Mattel had suffered a 26% drop in sales, with Fisher Price and Thomas accounting for much of it. I can’t help but wonder if barely having any product at major retailers could be a significant factor in that.

(I suppose we could touch on the dumpster fire that “Big World...” turned in to or the constant moving the show to different networks might’ve had on the brand but we’ll save that for another thread.)

It’s frustrating for me as a parent with a kid who is still a Thomas fan and Christmas fast approaching that actually finding current toys from this line is such a major hassle.

Thank you for the replies. Does anyone else have some hidden gems? I live is Colorado and spend time in Wisconsin from time to time.

if Mattel wants more sales in their Thomas line, do something different. Stop using Thomas or Percy in their sets.  Fans want different facial expressions and perhaps make sets to come with coaches.  Rolling stocks come with different colour don't make a difference to me. I personally prefer if they make the traditional oil tankers again would be great.

Isn't the obvious place for new Amazon or do they not sell Revolution?

Amazon is a potential resource but availability can still be sketchy and when an item goes out of stock or is difficult to find, the scalpers come crawling out. A good example are the separate track packs. They are very useful but almost impossible to find at big box retail. You can find them on Amazon as well as other “marketplace” sites, being sold by secondary market sellers at stupidly high prices.

My frustration right now is that my son’s major Christmas gift is supposed to be the deluxe “All Around Sodor” version of the Talking Thomas and Percy set. It seems to be a limited exclusive through Target in the US and TRU in Canada. It’s out of stock in the US and neither Amazon nor Walmart have it. But it’s been featured in Target’s mail out catalog and it was on Fisher Price’s site at one point, so he knows about it and Santa can’t just easily swap the smaller, mass market set.

Toy R US Canada is selling the "All Around Sodor set".  It is a bit price.  I will wait for it to go on sales first.
