610mm gauge 1899 built for the Rand Mines on the Witwatersrand, in south africa, sadly scrapped. Roger is my OC, based on this steam locomotive.

Remarkable locomotive, would like to see how you approached it. Took a foot plate ride, once, on a Porter 0-4-0 in Alna, 
Maine, some years ago. Sort of a supreme five minutes in life, for me. I was wearing a white shirt. By journey's end
my nice, new, white shirt was peppered with cinders and burn holes. I asked if it would be necessary to pay extra for 
the privilege!  Big Grin

Here we have the drawing of the Avonside 0-4-0t, it's the drawing of that photo I posted on October 30th. My character Roger is based on that locomotive.
