Tomica World Medium Set 7425 - Tobu Spacia
#1
Arrived today, from France. This is the first example of this set that I've seen since one that sold in Spain in 2012, so I'm very happy to add it to my collection. It's not complete, but the minor missing pieces are standard-issue and easily replaced. As Tomica World was active from 1998 to 2002, the train is the original Tobu Spacia that first appeared in 1995.

Wow, nice score Dr Chris. I didn't even know that the original Tobu Spacia was available outside of Japan let alone in Tomica World. In fact...I am not so sure I have seen one that didn't just come by itself in a 3 car box.

Thank you Chris. From this barcode, follows EAN-13 standard, based in UK. Therefore the box is registered in UK. The parts are made in Thailand.

I found out that 5 011666 074nnn are Tomica World related products.

Yes, all the track pieces have "Thailand" on them.

As expected, as the parts manufactured from 1998 to 2002 are manufactured in Thailand.

I'm conducting research on Made in China rails, I think I saw one from 2001.
