Swapping exhausted Percy face

*you can definitely do this at home*

The exhausted Percy face only comes with rc Percy and the blue coach. I wanted exhausted Percy to run under its power without a coach tagging along. So I opened up thr rc Percy and see if I can actually harvest the face. In fact it is not even difficult to harvest the face

That is the easy part. Replicating the same method on other Percy will be difficult given some of the faces are riveted on the Percy shell. It turns out the 2012 rc trackmaster Percy an ideal candidate

All you have to do is to slide the entire piece into the front.

The only problem with this medication is that front end portion is a but too long. I suppose you can file down thr black portion to make it a perfect fit

The face itself can't be separated from the smoke box?

you can remove the face off the smoke box.  However the face doesn't fit on the other smoke box.

What about sanding down the back side of the black smoke box to shorten it?

i did.  I don't have a file so i resorted to using sand paper.  Due to uneven distribution of the sanding technique the back of the fire box is slanted a little bit.
