N Gauge Vehicles for Layout

4 Replies, 1766 Views

As some of you may know I'm now looking to build an 'N Gauge' layout rather than 'HO/OO', partly due to the enormous price rises we're seeing in the 'OO' market, but more due to the fact I've always liked 'N' due to the level of detail you get and because the models are so much smaller that you can get far more layout into the same space!  So as well as looking for rolling stock I've also been sourcing track and today I got a batch of 'N Gauge' road vehicles which will help populate the layout roads once I get it up and running Smile

So here for a change, 'N Gauge' diecast road vehicles, a bit of a mix, but that was because I got a bundle box from the makers Smile

I've always had a thing for 'N Gauge', just in the past it was massively more expensive than 'OO', now things are tipping the other way, I'm guessing purely because 'N' isn't that popular in the UK probably up till now due to cost lol!

Anyway, I'm just picking up a few things so I can get a layout up and running, then we'll see how it goes Smile

Just a matter of time, once I got my mothers affairs tidied up (she unfortunately passed away in January) there will be more time to devote to such things...

BTW - If anyone else in the UK is looking for some cut price 'N Gauge' vehicles the bundle I got was from OxfordDiecast who are selling the bargain box (I got 18 models in mine) for £50 delivered to a UK address.  As they tend to sell separately for between £5 and £15 each then you can see the value, they claim you will get between £100 & £120 which I can see as being true.

Here's a link to the page where they have their bargain bundles, they have HO/OO gauge vehicles as well as ones that include railroad stuff.  Oxford Diecast
