Thanks, I particularly like the tank wagons, the level of detail for an N gauge (think PlaRail Advance) train is stunning.
Now if I can only find a Nankai Rap:it I will be happy, unfortunately it seems that Kato don't make that model for some reason. The only maker I can find that makes an N gauge version is MicroAce at the moment.

Lots of Coach windows in the Narita.... :D
Those Tankers remind me almost exactly like the Plarail ones.

I like how the Hoppers all have different numbers.

Me too, Kato's attention to detail like that is incredibly good. In a similar way I like the way if you buy a train - whether it be Shinkansen or just a suburban train each coach is different just like the prototype originals are. Most manufacturers make a loco and then just a number of identical coaches and if you are lucky different car numbers. When I post some pictures of the Silver Streak in its entirety you'll see what I mean, all 5 cars are different, individually named as well as numbered and all with extra detailed parts etc...

Those roof details are great.
Question: Looks like the headlights come on when the engine moves forward but shut off when reversing...are there headlights on the rear which turn on when reversing?

Yes decoration is very similar as you'd expect. But the detail is way higher, including working pantographs if you have catenary on your layout. It also has 3 x 4 wheel bogies, one at each end and one in the middle which is an odd design but which you seem to get quite a bit with Japanese loco's. I'm guessing maybe they have some tighter turns or whatever in Japan and this makes them better at traversing them?

I do have a KATO japanese loco EF 210 and it has wheels like that too. it looks like it's moving when curving, though i dont know jow it does on tighter curves because i only have that set. :)

Nice, is that an HO or N scale model?

Are there two or one with two ways of building it? Snap together or glue?
