Found this on Toy R Us store today (http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?...d=44212506). I wonder if they are compatible with Tomy train. The coupling is somewhat resembles to Chugginton Train series. The tracks are made out of the plastic. I wait until this item on sale before even considering buying it.
Hmm.............trucks with bogies............interesting.
Leyland, your link just goes to Toys-R-Us's front page, at least for me. Where is the train you speak of.

Same for me, but then I put the number in the link (44212506) into the Toys-R-Us product search box. When you've looked at that, Google the name of the manufacturer - Goldlok, and Train.

Thanks Leyland

Hard to tell if its the same size as Tomy. Did you see the set in the store or only Online?

From the pictures on the store website, it looks as if they use the same Tomy style track connection, wether it's the same size or not is another story.
Proud owner of Tomy/Plarail trains. Cool
I went to the store. It looks like they have the same gauge. I am not throwing any money on this product until it is on sale.

This one may works with Tomy as well.

Interesting. Total knock off of Plarail. wonder what the quality is like? From what I can tell the track does't look compatible with Tomy.
