first big lot in a while...

furthur to this thread: https://www.blueplastictracks.com/showth...p?tid=2470 i had forgotten about that thread until making this one, so neglected to match up engines with correct rolling stock.

i finally managed to organise to have the bulk lot sent up. been a bit chaotic here the last few months, and other things kept coming up.

so, my desk is covered in trains again, as i work to de-fluff their motors as best i can. a couple have proven to be almost mint inside, and one doesnt appear to have held a battery, as the terminal was still bent outwards. so far, i have managed to coax them back into life, but have a couple still to check.

worked out how to open it eventually, but it has broken wire inside the tender by the speaker box. will investigate furthur later on.

i like the decal of the person on this one. it appeals for some reason. this one also has a huge gold-colored weight inside the engine, heavy enough that the chassis wont sit flat unless the cover is on it. dont recall seeing anything like it before.

Nice set of rolling stock there Sun, I like some of the commuter type trains they are often under-rated I think as they are usually pretty good runners too Smile

That EF15 seems like it has seen quite a bit, keep it safe.
I AM NOT DEAD. Just inactive.
yes, that one definately seems like its the oldest. has no date underneath. i quite like it, looks wise. tricky to photograph though, due to the dark color.

It looks like this EF15 first appeared in the 2002-03 Plarail catalog courtesy of Ripley's fine Catalog Collection and Plarnold for providing that one to him.
