I am definitely interested. I just have to figure out how to paint the body. Should I use spray paint or something else?
Spray paint is a good option I think, but airbrush would probably be best.

I'm afraid to order one:/ I don't think I am skilled enough to do it properly...although I think if I were to try I would order a black one...that way at least the windows would already be done and easily masked off.
I never realized I was watching it progress from cgi renderings, and thought that it was actually a completely finished mod.
I'm sure there are many very skilled people in the world (and on this site)who know all the techniques that would be required to make this look factory made, but I am unfortunately not one of them.
BUT the EASIEST way (for only one member I know of) to make something incredibly cool out of it, would be for ModThana to get one and have it gilded into "Golden Daisy"!!!
Play nice & have fun!!Smile
Hi all.

Sorry for not saying earlier that it would only be available in white or black. Coloured sandstone could be added as an option as well but it's far from a good choice for this sort of application and would probably cost even more. As far as painting goes, there's no real reason you should be scared to have a go. I made the lining a raised detail to make painting easier. Depending on which material you order, you may only have to paint the green, red and white sections with the help of masking tape and rely on a silver paint pen for the handrails and windows while a yellow paint pen could be used for lining.

A gold plated daisy would be pretty cool though Big Grin

If people want a tutorial on how to paint it from start to finish, I could probably do one as an example.

It's my birthday today, so I might order one of these at some point. Daisy is a character that will really make my upcoming series a lot more interesting.

Also, well done, Fly, you've outdone yourself again.

Happy birthday! Thanks, glad you like it. If you do order one, please do share some pics once you've painted it up Big Grin
Ey, does something like this need a coat of primer first?

Personally I would, regardless of the colour plastic you end up choosing.
