Trackmaster Donald/Douglas Help

Hello there!

I am quite in a pickle with one of my Trackmaster engines. It is a 2007 Trackmaster Donald/Douglas. I was having trouble free rolling this train, so I took it apart and removed the hair by the wheel. It moves better now, but I am having trouble putting it back on! It's with the part shown below.

If the picture doesn't show up, it's the shell that makes up most of the engine body.

Whenever I put this thing on, the engine doesn't free roll, and either moves slower than the battery, or not at all.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks, Jack.

PS. It maybe caused by the back wheels getting stuck on the shell.

Hello Jack

Welcome to BluePlasticTracks. The one I have here is different from yours as mine the whole shell comes off to change the battery and is one piece. Just guessing since I can't try it myself but is the axle all the way into, flush with the outside each drive wheel?

I believe so. When I took out one of the wheels, the train worked fine. It didn't get stuck. I'll try to put it on correctly.
