Middle wheel trouble

On my TM Hit Toys Douglas, the middle wheel always causes the driving wheels to stop/destroys the traction tires. How can I...
1.Remove the middle wheels
Or
2.Scrape off enough plastic so the middle wheel is a non issue.

It does??? I have oversized traction rubber tires on mine and they don't come close to the middle wheel. Have a picture?

I can't exactly show this, but for some reason the driving axle jumps and bounces forward which cause the friction with the middle wheel.

Well it sounds like the middle wheel is not the problem. Removing it won't correct the problem. Have you had the motor assembly off the chassis recently?
