Had I been paying attention and looking at the pictures yesterday, I'd have noticed exactly what train, and where it's from lol 😂 It clearly says on the front 'Puyuma DX Set' with a picture of Taiwan as well, so there's the mystery solved - It's the Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) Puyuma Express, which is a special express unit built for the TRA by Nippon Sharyo. I'm going to assume this was possibly a Taiwanese exclusive, but then again there is also Japanese text on the box so I'm wondering if it was also sold in Japan? Certainly wouldn't be the first Taiwanese themed Plarail set as there was one based on the Taiwanese Shinkansen (a heavily modified version of the 700 Series from Japan IIRC). Been building Plarail worlds since 2001; Building when I can in 2023
