I absolutely love that Pickford Steam Wagon. Has two features that are my favorites...olde tyme trucks and steam driven trains and vehicles. I also love that it has a realistic canvas cover on the back and looks removable. Surprised its a Matchbox release. Nice pickups T-Real

see, T-Real someday, you'll probably get some rare train for what, $4 bucks, you really get the better stuff, I haven't gone shopping at Charity Shops, or Swap-Meets
so who knows what I'm missing out on

If you make Wooden Railway customs, you could always repaint the tender if you don't have another Hank (engine). Perhaps even cut the top off to get an (approximately) Lady/Neil/Millie-sized chassis, or reuse the wheels and magnets for something else.

Wow. That side-by-side photo shows how much better the faces look on the TnP Annie and Clarabel, in addition to the corrected (black) sides and bufferbeams. Like most of the early Mattel range, they aren't distinctly CGI and still have brighter eyelids like on the filmed models. Clean and "natural" like any other item with a face, including Take Along ones.

A Coca Cola tanker? Did you get the idea from Ucwepn's father's Coke train with "Colin" (a repainted Diesel)? If so, you could take one of your old Class 08s and try to recreate it someday. Fun fact: Hornby once made an officially licensed Coke train and used their 0-4-0 Thomas mould for the engine.

I knew you'd eventually get at least one Fireman Sam product after years of merch from Bob, Roary, Chuggington, Ernie, Jay Jay and other shows like them. You wouldn't believe how massive Sam is over here (Sami haKabai). It's so heavily promoted/marketed I used to dismiss it as being "disgustingly overrated" for a while, especially compared to T&F. Many parents, older siblings, etc. who watched it have held discussions about the content/implications like Pontypandy's ridiculous budgets, their hatred of Norman (Adam) Price, the "Sam is Norman's dad" theory and anything else you could think of. Our real Fire and Rescue Services have embraced the show years ago, to the point where (among other things) there are crews who play the theme song on the fire engines' P.A.s when they notice young children or visit kindergartens. One crew even played it when responding to a school fire somewhere. I could go on about Sam's impact here, but it would be too much for BPT and very off topic.

I was inspired by ucwepn's father who made 'Colin' the Coca Cola diesel but my one will also have a tanker just like his (I own a duplicate tomy diesel).

I Finally got a trackmaster Bertram (old warrior) for £150 ($180) my most expensive model in the collection believe it or not. he was dirty but I cleaned him he is in great condition and more. Early birthday gift

Bertram and Duke (though in the show they use the same model trackmaster made them different so that's a plus)

the difference are the domes the cab the running board the funnel etc. I believe his trackmaster model is based on the Ertl model or at least inspired
