That's a lot of history to catch up on, but will certainly do that.

I've been looking at Vimeo as an alternative, but thank's for mentioning Dailymotion as well. I'm not sure what the practical implication of marking as 'kids content' are other than disabling comments and limiting cards and end screens, but need to read up on that.

Actually the whole COPPA thing was a scammy joke, and only effects people who do not know any better....
There is a second YouTube app (YT studio) that allows each video to be designated “made for kids” or “not made for kids”.
All that has to be done is simply click “not made for kids” and the comments section is enabled!!
It wouldn’t matter anyway as 80% of our viewers are over the age of 18, but for the 20% who aren’t, they are still able to comment on our channel regardless of so called COPPA restrictions.

That's right; ALL those basic features are disabled when a video or channel is "kidded" (not a word, but that's how I refer to it).

* "Kidded" videos can still be added to playlists created by the submitter, even if the channel is "kidded". It only means other users can't add such videos to their own playlists.

Yes... All of those functions are disabled by default, and “kidded” automatically when anyone uploads content, but is it just a matter of “unkidding” them (idk if that is an actual word) as “no, this is not made for kids” and COPPA is NOT an issue AT ALL.

I think the biggest problem with the COPPA is for YouTubers that monetize their videos. Those are the ones being scrutinized the most I think and may be subject to fines or penalty strikes. If you aren't monetizing your Channel...IMO...I don't think you should worry too much.

Thats odd, like you I have seen many new in box, old releases of trains with a cracked drive gear but never seen one like this that disintegrated/disappeared like that.

Yes Super, nor have I.
It literally crumbled into little bits, and fell down inside of the motor!!
It’s fixed now and ready to shoot, but ended up being the least of my problems.
I shot this video 3 days ago, only to find out that YouTube changed its system, and clicking the camera icon on their home screen for uploading from my phone NO LONGER WORKS.
3 days later of racking my brain, Internet searches, instructional videos, and trial and error, I finally figured out a new way around this mess and was successful in uploading it.
The dumb part is I’m still not quite sure how I ended up where I did, or how exactly to get back there again...very frustrating disaster of a video experience.
...and I still haven’t finished the run yet. Lol
