I still don't have a clue, but the cuts are looking very neat! How did you cut it?

First started with a 2" Hole Saw then extended the sides down using an X-acto Saw Blade then using a file made sure the cuts were smooth and square to the sides.

Getting close. Have the siding and roofing ordered for completion but I won't make you wait that long. Rolleyes  Another quick hint...both of these will actually perform an action

Oh, a video is coming? Hoooooray!  Smile Smile Smile

It just occurred to me: since the facilities have only one entrance each, could they be the start and end point of the track where the locomotive moves back and forth using special chassis and special rails from the Sushi set?

Wow...its been so long I had forgot how to make a video. Sorry for the angles and poor lighting. These could save a lot of room on a Layout that uses the big red U-Turns for Trams or Engine only round trips. Finishing touches to come when they arrive.

And it's a really wonderful idea! Looking forward to seeing it when the finishing touches arrive.

You have to admit I was close, Super: it's just not the reversing track but automatic turntables... Big Grin

Nice music too! Smile

So that's what these things were for the whole time. If you hadn't shown there were Chuggington turntables in them, I would've thought you worked out some sort of weird magical mechanism. Were they inspired by anything, or are they from your imagination alone? Maybe they should be painted to represent wood, concrete or bricks with a window to look like they're something real.

This really is great!
It’s so much more compact than even an R-10 turn rail, that it could fit in very tight layouts, or enable existing tracks that go to nowhere to become turnarounds.
I can’t wait to see the exterior finished.
Play nice & have fun!!Smile
