Check out Matsuoka-san's Plarail swimming pool line to celebrate 10,000 tweets.  He created tracks around the swimming pool.

He has some help from Shimamura-san, you can see the challenges they faced in the following video and another video.

They also tried running plarail underwater, as seen on the video.

NOTE: Matsuoka Jun is well-known for creating plarail stations based on actual stations and doing large scale setups.  He also holds many plarail events throughout Japan along with Nayuho (who runs the Plarail Museum).

They have a lot of faith in those subway pieces not giving way over the pool, beautiful layout though

Forget the Plarail stuff...I want to know more about that swimming pool which looks like its on a top floor of a high rise building. Could it be a private personal pool or part of a business or co-op/condo/hotel?

I saw some of these photos and the videos on Twitter, a very cool layout. I was also curious about those subway tunnels, if you look closely they have been zip-tied together to prevent them from disconnecting from one another. It is a very nice pool, and the tracks and trains floating on the large colored foam look oddly serene.
I have a website where I have been writing about and photographing many of the sets and pieces that I find interesting.
